Shipping Policy

Before ordering, we recommend that you check that your country is accepting international mail from Australia due to ongoing mail issues around the world. please see the Australia Post website.

PACKING AND HANDLING TIMES
All orders are packed at our home office in Holbrook New South Wales, Australia. We endeavor to have your order processed and dispatched within 5 Business days of the order being received.

Orders with Express Shipping will be prioritised and shipped as soon as possible. If you require something urgently posted please reach out to us. Express shipping is only available for Australian customers.

 

COUNTRIES WE SHIP TO AND TRANSIT TIMES
Transit time is the time it takes for your order to be delivered to your door. This time begins once your package has been handed over to the postal service and ends upon successful delivery. Transit time varies from country to country and we therefore cannot estimate accurate transit times.
The following are estimated transit times for countries we ship to and are based on regular post. We also encourage you to look up your countries postal provider for information on lead times and any potential delays occurring at present. Please note that all orders are shipped from Coolangatta NSW, Australia.

Due to VAT regulations, as a small business operating in Australia we unfortunately do not have the resources to collect and remit VAT to the relevant government bodies on behalf of our customers. We therefore cannot accept orders here, however we can through Etsy as international market places have the recourses to collect and remit these taxes. For more info head to:

Once a package leaves Australia or is transferred to another delivery service, we will no longer have control over its journey. If your package appears to be taking longer than normal please get in touch with us at hello@hyperfinch.com. Please note that if your country has selected your package for inspection, this can potentially add 1-4 weeks to the transit time.

During the holidays seasons, you may find transit times for packages to be slower than normal. Please factor in up to 1-4 weeks additional transit time during holiday and peak seasons.

 

PACKAGING
We have chosen all of our packaging materials thoughtfully to limit our carbon footprint on the earth. All of our packaging is made from eco-friendly materials made from recycled or naturally biodegradable materials. 

 

UNTRACKED SHIPPING
Parcels posted with a stamp and do not include any tracking information. This options is only available to Australian customers for select items such as stickers and postcards. In the case of a package being delayed or missing, we cannot attempt to locate or track the package and we cannot offer a warranty, refund, replacement or any sort of compensation.

 

TRACKED SHIPPING
We offer tracked shipping worldwide for all orders. The cost varies depending on your location and is free for all orders over $100 AUD Tracking details will be provided via Australia Post. For international orders please use the tracking number provided to track your parcel once it reaches your country.

 

RETURNED PACKAGES
If a package is returned to us, we will attempt to contact you, reconfirm your delivery details and resend the package. In some cases you may be required to cover additional delivery costs for resending the package. If we do not hear back from you within a week the order will be cancelled. If less than 30 days have past since we initially shipped the order then you will be eligible for a refund (excluding the shipping costs).

 

CUSTOMS
We comply with foreign customs and accurately declare costs of all packages. Requests for us to declare incorrect costs or to mark packages as gifts for the purpose of avoiding customs and taxes, are not permitted and may result in your order being cancelled. Customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for any delays due to customs.

 

MISSING ORDERS
Please contact us at hello@hyperfinch.com if you suspect your package has gone missing, is lost or is delayed. If you have been provided with a tracking number, please additionally contact the local courier in regards to the packages whereabouts.
